WOD Brisbane, Feb 21st 2025

Hosted by Lorraine

We all meet for the first time this night. I was surprised by the level of intimacy we were able to reach in just one dinner. I got three 5star reviews and one 4star review and 4 out of the 5 said they would 💯 come again! I even had one lady comment post dinner thanking me for holding the dinner again and said how interesting it was.

Monday, as part of our partnership with the Survivor Justice Initiative and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, we stood in solidarity with our sisters at Taconic Correctional Facility and women worldwide.
Through an inspiring collaboration with Women Over Dinner at Auburn Angel, we connected with incredible women—old allies and new comrades—united in the mission to uplift survivors of domestic abuse and incarcerated women across the globe.
This is the power of sisterhood: when women come together, we reshape the world. 💪🏾✨

Because I had everyone bring something small to share, and I provided a lot too, there are so many leftovers, and I feel so abundant and I’m reminded how women feed the world and bring abundance and prosperity with them, hand in hand with our joy.

I just feel like ok I need to invite people over to help me eat! Women let’s enjoy our appetites! It just feels really rich and beautiful

- Sarah

Sarah’s leading and beautifully curated home bring a magical connection to my erotic nature. Can’t wait for the next one!

If I'm open.. there is so much to be learned from other woman. I enjoyed the different age group of women that was at the dinner. Sharon The WOD evening opened a door to a new dimension in this community. I'm grateful for this and for the many possibilities women can create when like minds come together, which I felt in having met you all last night. The warmth and acceptance was delightful. Thank you Cherry.

- Jeriel

What a gift to know that we CAN be the change, and willing to also. really looking forward to our next dinner!!

-Leah

So grateful to Cherry and Leigh for dreaming up and acting on their intuition to gather women and treat us to nourishment and connection. So beautiful! And reflection: there is so much to learn from other women... I feel strongly that the feminine will help balm and heal the challenges we are facing as humans in the world. And gathering, dreaming together and building new ways is the way forward

I was really touched by each woman’s shares, and noticed how many things we shared in commonality. I felt closer to each one after dinner because I was able to learn some intimate details of their life and character that I hold very sacred and special. I came away from the dinner feeling seen, heard, held, received. I’m looking forward to our next one and hosting soon.

- Angela

I released a lot of tears and shared lots of laughs too. A lovely meal with beautiful women and heartfelt conversation. A new and exciting experience. Would love to do again, with new questions on the table

- Kim

Such a moving and delightful time of deep reflection, closeness, and connection. It was so uplifting to see other women be so open and vulnerable and to see myself reflected in them. Thank you !

-Maile

Enjoyed the whole experience. The questions. The structure. The witnessing and being seen. Learning more about myself & others. The synergy. Speaking wants and needs out.

Originally, Cara was going to facilitate and I was only offering my home as the gathering place. But last minute, Cara had to go out of town, and I stepped up to facilitate, I felt a new kind of excitement and power come through me, and I felt great about doing it! It was wonderful. I'm glad I got "accidentally" forced to facilitate because it showed me that, no problem, I can do it.

It has been incredibly healing and moving to connect with these women in such vulnerability. I delight in the care of hosting- of thinking of the experience, the lighting, having beautiful items on the table. I am moved by the desire these women have to heal the hurt we have all experienced in our relationships with women in our younger years, and those of us who are mothers are excited to model something different for our sons and daughters.

WOD, July 13th 2024

Hosted by Elyna Paizis

It was nice to be prompted with what to share. Some of the language in the questions I didn't quite understand, nor did the other attendees, but even in that we bonded about what it could mean. I liked that there was space for each person to share and we didn't interrupt each other. Although I'm glad that's not daily life and every conversation, it's a good practice.

WOD, July 7th 2024

Hosted by Joy Saavedra

My Women Over Dinner (WOD) experience with my best friend Joy was incredibly enriching. The evening was a sacred space where we delved into deep, meaningful conversations guided by thoughtfully crafted questions. This format allowed us to explore new dimensions of our friendship, unveiling layers of connection we hadn’t tapped into before.

One particularly powerful moment was the "Noticings" round. Practicing the act of receiving genuine acknowledgment without deflection was both challenging and uplifting. It affirmed our inherent worthiness and beauty, creating a space where we felt truly seen and appreciated. The evening was filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt stories, weaving a rich tapestry of connection that nourished our souls.

Throughout the dinner, we felt a profound sense of solidarity and understanding. The guided questions prompted us to share our vulnerabilities and strengths, deepening our bond in ways that were both surprising and comforting. The experience was a beautiful reminder of the power of female connection and the healing that comes from being truly present with one another.

The WOD experience left me with a full heart and a renewed sense of unity. It highlighted the importance of creating spaces where women can come together, share authentically, and support each other. Women Over Dinner is a testament to the transformative power of these connections, and I am inspired to continue this beautiful tradition, knowing that it has the potential to touch and heal hearts in profound ways.

It was really Sacred, truly. We paused often to allow our eight senses to receive the fullness of our presence. There were tears and laughter. Beautiful food, stories shared from a real and deep place. I loved the questions and so did the other women.

Thank you 💜🙏🏽

These are women I love and regularly share dinners with, but this experience felt completely different. Instead of simply "catching up," we delved deep and discovered new things about each other. It challenged us to reflect on questions we don’t often consider, bringing us closer as we look toward the future together.

First, I want to share why I was attracted initially to have a Women Over Dinner event. My Grandmother and Mom both taught me that when it gets tough have dinner with girlfriends when things are going great have dinner with girlfriends.

What stood out for me is how easily we all happily connected! I felt so supported by my girlfriends who came early to help set up and left last after we sang "We are family" together.

I would like other women to know that when women come together and create a safe space and support one another whole heartedly we are unstoppable!!

Flowers are arranged by my good friend Flo Bowen!

I was so honored to host this Woman over Dinner. After attending my first event, I was so moved by what I experienced when woman come together and are present and open to each other. I know by connecting in this way, we are creating a field of change...We were open, honest, shared our truths and we deepened into a connection that we have, that perhaps have forgotten. But no longer...

Shaw Island, June 25, 2024- four women over dinner outside in a beautiful place, talking, laughing and sharing. We all agreed, we want more women power in the world. It is time.

Hosted by Maryann Baker & Carla Holmes & Sheila Stout

It was a powerful experience cohosting with Carla and Maryann. We divided and conquered the tasks. Carla did the admin, shopping and was the front person holding the event. Maryann did the cooking onsite and I rocked the physical logistics with helpers to set the tables and did some serious cleanup. The connection between the women who attended was rich, loving and introspective. It was a very enjoyable experience. 🙏

- Sheila

I loved being able to connect with other women over fabulous food and amazing conversations! Breathtaking to hear us be vulnerable and honest and real as well as appreciate each other with such love!

-Maryann

From the moment the women began to arrive they expressed delight and gratitude to have the opportunity for connection with women. It was a wonderful night of laughter, connection and warmth.

I loved bringing WOD to the town I live in. the dinner unfolded magically and with ease, I felt pugged into a well of power that is woman, that is this movement. I felt my own power ignite through out the evening, being the one to hold this torch and bring it to this corner of the world. the questions were the perfect guide to take us into deep connection with ourselves and each other. I loved watching the women soften, take their masks off and drop into their bodies. we were all surprised how comfortable and real we got, and how fast. within two hours we created the type of connection we were all craving, deep, real, feminine, fulfilling, and full of power.

WOD Nigeria, 2024

There is a reason women have been kept away from each other in manufactured contempt, distrust and judgement for so long.

I felt a stripping away of the false skin that has kept us separate as I witnessed our desire to be witnessed, received and empowered in the places where our desires, turn ons and constrictions coexist.

The pulse of electricity flowed throughout my entire body as the bright progressed , dispelling the boundaries around the feminine and uniting us in a power grid of aliveness that was palpable and energizing.

I felt bigger, I felt stronger, I felt connected, I felt unstoppable.

This event is like receiving a warm and inviting hug by 5 women at once.  The food is delicious and visually stimulating. The venue is upscale.  The whole evening is soul-quenching, rejuvenating and inspiring.

I love the round-table questions.  I leave at the end of the evening feeling like I was heard and received real connections to everyone at my table.

WOD Louisville, Aug 1st 2024

Hosted by Lynne Green

The format was exceptional! It provided safety and a deep opening for the participants, who for the most part did not know each other. What emerged from this circle was a deep connection to each other that cut through society, identities and let our hearts be revealed and held by other women. Pure magic. The rippling out is already deeply felt. Our next is already planned for September 5th.

WOD Los Angeles, Aug 3rd 2024

Women Over Dinner creates a beautiful opportunity for open-hearted, connective, empowered sharing. There was a moment during the dinner when I felt chills run through my body as one of the women shared her truth, I loved how it reminded me of the conviction that’s alive in me and the desire to own my evolving truth more fully. Women Over Dinner is the kind of experience that facilitates a deep nourishment I feel like we’re all hungry for.

We’re on our fourth dinner together, and the conversations were deeply vulnerable and challenged all of us in healthy ways. After dinner, one of our women led us in a water release and several of us swam in the lake like child-like glory.
